The Weekenders were formed in the summer of 2010, and began playing gigs in the Spring of 2011. We are a covers band with a difference, playing contemporary music alongside classic tunes.
We aim to keep our set as fresh as possible, playing music that you've heard on the radio in the last ten years. People are surprised and delighted to hear that we cover songs from modern bands such as The Killers, Vampire Weekend, Adele, Kings of Leon and the Ting Tings as well as legends like Tom Petty and Jimi Hendrix. The music we play is energetic and our gigs have everyone dancing.
The Weekenders are available for a variety of private events in the Kent area including weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, christmas and new years do's. Our rates are competitive and if you are interested in booking us then please refer to our Contacts page for how to get in touch.
